SPIKES ASIA - The big names were out in force for the first full day of the Spikes Asia 2011 programme. Omnicom's John Wren, Renren's Alvin Chiang, and Publicis Worldwide's Dean Bramham were among the key industry leaders sharing their thoughts on stage.
SPIKES ASIA - When all is said and done; when the last seminar has been pored over and the last trophy has been awarded; there's nothing left but to party until the sun comes up. Delegates attending the Leo Burnett-sponsored Spikes Asia Awards show after-party at IndoChine alongside the Singapore River, put their celebrating hats on for one last Spikes bash. SPIKES ASIA 2011 - The final day of the Spikes Asia 2011 speaking programme included presentations from jury presidents, and the conclusion of accompanying competitions such as the Young Spikes marketing academy.
McCann Worldgroup held its 'Networking after dark' party on the top floor and balcony of its Orchard Road office building. With plenty of concrete, smoke machines and a minimalist layout, some observers likened it to an 80s-style rave. With, of course, sumo wrestling and a mechanical bull.
SPIKES ASIA – JWT Shanghai made a strong showing for China at this year’s Spikes Asia awards, winning the top accolade for its ‘Heaven and Hell’ campaign for Samsonite in three categories, including Outdoor, Print and Print and Poster Craft.
SPIKES ASIA – JWT and BBDO dominated this year’s Spikes awards, with both networks claiming three Grands Prix.
